BIO

BRIEF BIO:

April pastored in the local church for almost 20 years. Now she’s a speaker, author, and coach for leaders all over the country. Secretly, she’s a mix of a total girly girl and a tomboy, and is still crazy about her high school sweetheart, Brian. Together, they co-parent 3 fabulous kiddos. Find her at aprildiaz.com.

LONGER BIO:

April pastored in the local church for over 15 years at two of the most influential churches in the country. For the last few years she’s coached, trained, and taught internationally. She is most passionate about coming alongside leaders who are leading on the margins of culture. She's also heavily involved with the Fuller Youth Institute as an Advisory Council member, Sticky Faith Coach and Certified Trainer. April’s also the Director of Coaching at The Youth Cartel and an associate in the student department of Slingshot Group.

Her first book, Redefining the Role of the Youth Worker: A Manifesto for Integration is a compelling vision for the church’s role with teenagers.

She speaks and writes frequently on matters of leadership, youth ministry, and soul care. Secretly, she’s a total girly girl and reads more than she can put into practice. She’s still madly in love with her high school sweetheart, Brian. Together, they co-parent the most beautiful Ethiopians, Judah and Addise, and bio son, Asher.
