coaching. speaking. writing.
April Diaz serves the church well. She communicates with vision and whether she’s in front of a room of middle schoolers or adult leaders, she understands how to engage people where they are, to help them see what God could do through their lives. Off of the stage, she’s genuinely trying to follow Jesus, build leaders, and care for hurting people who need a relationship with God. I’ve watched her have conversations with struggling teens and leaders needing encouragement. In both cases, people walked away cared for, with excellence. She’s the real deal.
In getting to know April in the last few years, and hearing her teach and lead in a number of situations, she is as authentic as they come. She does far more than just bring solid content and teaching, but makes it personal as she shares from her own experiences and looks to connect with those she is teaching and leading on a personal level. More than anything, you walk away from a session with April knowing that someone else cares and that there is hope for the road ahead, be it ministry, parenting, or your own spiritual growth.
April is a dynamic communicator that brings passion and love when she speaks. She was able captivate an entire college student body, while speaking to believers and non-believers alike. Her love for God and sharing what He is doing in her life is evident, and she is able to communicate in a way that encourages transformation in others. We hope to have April back soon.
A number of years ago a good friend of mine who served as director at a premier Christian confernece center in SoCal told me that great male communicators are a dime-a-dozen, but if you find a great communicator who happens to be female, she is worth gold! April Diaz is one of my favorite communicators, male or female. I invited April to be a keynote speaker at a church men’s retreat. April hit it out of the park and the men were talking about her insightful insights for months afterwards. I wholehearedly recommend one of my favorite communicators of truth, April Diaz.; she is pure gold in my book.
April came as a new friend to Abundant Grace Women’s Ministry to speak at the 2016 Women’s retreat in Shanghai. She immediately became part of the team with grace, humility, and a real love for the ladies. Her courage, honesty, and self evaluation released a permission for sharing and openness that flowed into the whole weekend. Many testimonies included how the Word and ministry times brought healing, encouragement, activation and confirmation.
April Diaz is a dynamic communicator who is not afraid to ask hard questions and tackle challenging topics. With a deep commitment to Christ and her faith, she is able to confront the status quo while remaining rooted in the truth of God’s Word. A mentor and coach at heart, April is able to guide an audience into new ways of understanding themselves, their Creator and what it means to live a life of influence.
April Diaz brings a wealth of knowledge and hands on experience to the topic of what effective leadership looks like for the church. She sparks conversations in a lively manner and is able to engage with all people in grasping how we function best as leaders. Leadership is not just a trending topic in the church; it is a crucial issue that April Diaz has prepared for and lived out with her work in various ministries across the country. I’m grateful for the time she has spent training me and my team of peers and leaders in our church.
April is magnetic. The way she engages an enormous room of people makes you feel as if she is sitting at the table right across from you having a conversation with you directly. Her passion, wisdom, vision and expertise in student ministry provided the spark needed to bring my team to the next level of leadership. Her content is incredible, her delivery is excellent and she brings with her a tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience. She is an extraordinarily gifted and engaging communicator, but more importantly it is clear that she cares about you individually. She loves you, she loves your team and the students you serve. April will leave you feeling inspired to accomplish the purpose God has called you to. April, when can we have you back?

Our time with April was encouraging, motivating and practical. April is passionate about partnering with youth workers and desires to equip them with specific strategies and best practices. Super content delivered with a great sense of humor. Can’t wait to have her back with us again!
April Diaz is an absolute joy to work with! She so deeply cares for youth workers and the field of youth ministry, that her passion is wonderfully evident in all she says and does. April has the unique gifting to speak both with power and with grace. She brings an imaginative perspective on ministry and will challenge you and your group to think outside the classic ministry box so that together youth ministry can be more effective in reaching the emerging generations. Bringing April in is a great move for your organization.
No one can interact with April and walk away questioning her passion for seeing high school students understand Jesus’ love for them. This past summer at MOVE, April used her trademark combination of humor, vulnerability and unique perspective to communicate the unflinching truth of God’s word. She speaks with a personal conviction that is both compelling and convicting, but not condemning. We love what April brings to our stage.
We loved “The Best Ever Parent Training Ever”! The content was excellent. Our parents left challenged and wanting more. We’ve had nothing but positive feedback! The seminar started conversations that are already becoming game changers in the life of our body. April was great! She took the time to get to know our context so that she could communicate effectively to our group. She was very knowledgeable, yet made our parents feel comfortable enough to ask questions and make comments. She poured her heart into our church, and we are so grateful!
